house projects

I've been quite busy decorating my new house and painting every single room, including trim and closets.
By popular demand I am now posting pictures of my progress. I will post many more soon as I finish the last touches on each room.
My house looks brand new now.
My nice Gordon Sign for my pot shelf.
This picture shows you just how big the sign actually is.
Drum roll please.....

I wish...

I wish Hogwarts and Harry Potter were real. Oh how I love the Harry Potter movies.
Nikki, Kristin, Austin, Jayden, Nate, and I went and saw the midnight showing of the Half-blood prince. No it was not crowded. Yes it was worth the lack of sleep today. Yes I dressed up. I am here to report that it is fantastic and everything I expected it to be.
Yes it was 2 hours and 45 minutes long but I wished it would have gone on longer.
I now can't wait until the next movie to come out. Thankfully I have read the next book and know how it ends.
To all the Harry Potter fans out there.... Long Live Harry Potter!!!

4 years BABY!

Only 4 short year ago we were first announced as Mr. & Mrs. Gordon
We have done a lot these last four years together. They have all been wonderful.
We have had a lot of change happen over the past four years. For example:
We have moved 4 times, 9 different vehicles, 9 different jobs, and a baby.
We now feel settled down with our new home, jobs, and Tori.
I feel this year will even top the rest... if that's possible.
Brett, thank you for marrying me! Thanks for all you do for our little family.
I love you with all my heart!

How we met: The short version
Brett and I first met in High School our Junior year. We went to Senior Prom together as friends. Brett left on him mission and we didn't talk for 2 years. Came back home, reconnected and 5 months later got married!

But Wait there's More...

TV Pitchman Billy Mays was found dead in his home Sunday morning. Cause of death is still unknown. However, Billy was on a flight that had a hard landing and hit his head very hard. Billy also complained about not feeling well before going to bed to his wife.

Devasted the Sham Wow guy was quoted as saying "I guess the German's didn't make that plane because you know they make good stuff."

Billy Mays died today...

Ironically his last product was engrave it.

Celebrities normally die in 3s, but Billy Mays threw his in for free.

God took care of the free shipping and handling.

Billys last words..."But wait theres more!"

Sad Day

Today is a sad day. I received a phone call from Costco letting me know that they are recalling Toll House cookie dough, that it could possibly give you E. coli and that you should not eat any raw cookie dough. You could bring back the tub of dough and get a refund.

My first thought was: "CRAP!!!"
I eat a spoon full or two of raw cookie dough everyday.
I have only baked maybe 10 cookies out of the entire tub and there is maybe only a cup of cookie dough left.
"Am I going to get E. coli?"
I'm totally freaked out now and even more sad that I can't have any cookie dough today.

Brooke Feltner

We have a new niece!
Kristin Feltner (Brett's sister) had her 4th baby on Monday.
I have been having a lot of fun hanging out with the rest of her kids this week and taking pictures of the new baby.
Happy Birthday Brooke!

Family Pictures

The Williams family got pictures done for a gift for Mother's Day. It's crazy how much we have all grown.  We had so much fun taking the family pictures. The boys probably won't want to do it again anytime soon.

update

At least I try to blog about something once a week. That's better than some people.

I have been keeping myself busy with cleaning and organizing my house so that I may move here shortly. If anyone needs a place to rent or knows someone who is sane and needs a place to rent the above house will be available as soon as I get my crap out of it. So let me know asap.  I've just been busy deep cleaning my house including base boards, fridge, bathrooms. All the fun stuff that you put off until the bitter end. Right now our closing date for our new house is on the 25th of this month. We are hoping to move in by the 20th or before.
My new house need a much needed make over. Every single room needs to be painted and cleaned. Even closets. So if anyone has an extra hour or two at the end of the month please please please let me know. Thanks in advance : )

On a different note:
Our TRUCK WAS STOLEN! Yep that's right. Last Friday I went to get into my car after work at 11pm and it was no longer in the parking lot. It's a super creepy feeling to have your vehicle stolen. I just wondered around the parking lot with my clicker in hand looking for some light to go off somewhere. But it never happened. On a good note though highway patrol found in on Monday somewhere between Casa Grande and Tuscon. It was beaten up pretty badly. Our insurance has deemed it a total loss.
So we must find another vehicle here soon.   It sure would have been nice to have our big old truck when we move down the street in a couple weeks.
We will manage though, and I'll try not to lose another vehicle at work again.

Straight Hair

So....I was bored this morning. I have always been interested to see what Tori's hair would look like straight. So I straightened it today. It looks pretty scary straight. The flower clip helps a little. But the back looks like she is an eighties child. If it were left straight she would definately need a hair cut. Maybe I can flip the bottom out to make this look work. I probably won't be doing this again any time soon.
