She loves to make faces now, and I love that she does.

I was getting her out of the crib after a nap and had to take pictures of her curly hair. 

I love her hair. 

Obviously I couldn't pick my favorite picture.

I always appreciate a good laugh. Especially when things are spelled wrong on a sign. 

I was driving around yesterday morning trying to find a house in Mesa and lo and behold I found the most unique sign ever. There is was in all its glory written on an old container lid taped to a light pole with blue painters tape "Yar Sel" It had the address at which it was being held at below. I just knew that this yar sel was going to be the best one ever and have all the unique rare item you can only find at yar sels. I drove by but was sorely disappointed by the lack of creativity there at the actual yar sel that I had found on their sign. : ( 

I figured since I was lost I would stop and take a picture of the sign. Found out at that moment my camera didn't work though.

So I took one on my camera phone. If I ever figure out how to transfer that picture here. 

I will share it with you.

Happy Mother's Day

Before I was a Mom, 
I never tripped over toys 
or forgot words to a lullaby. 
I didn't worry whether or not 
my plants were poisonous. 
I never thought about immunizations.

Before I was a Mom, 
I had never been puked on. 
Pooped on. 
Chewed on. 
Peed on. 
I had complete control of my mind 
and my thoughts. 
I slept all night.

Before I was a Mom, 
I never held down a screaming child 
so doctors could do tests. 
Or give shots. 
I never looked into teary eyes and cried. 
I never got gloriously happy over a simple grin. 
I never sat up late hours at night 
watching a baby sleep.

Before I was a Mom, 
I never held a sleeping baby just because 
I didn't want to put her down. 
I never felt my heart break into a million pieces 
when I couldn't stop the hurt. 
I never knew that something so small 
could affect my life so much. 
I never knew that I could love someone so much. 
I never knew I would love being a Mom.

Before I was a Mom, 
I didn't know the feeling of 
having my heart outside my body.. 
I didn't know how special it could feel 
to feed a hungry baby. 
I didn't know that bond 
between a mother and her child. 
I didn't know that something so small 
could make me feel so important and happy.

Before I was a Mom, 
I had never gotten up in the middle of the night 
every 10 minutes to make sure all was okay. 
I had never known the warmth, 
the joy, 
the love, 
the heartache, 
the wonderment 
or the satisfaction of being a Mom. 
I didn't know I was capable of feeling so much, 
before I was a Mom .

New HOME

So... our offer has been accepted to our new home. We are so excited that we will be living in our very own home.  We have already been planning what to paint each room and what new things we need to buy. Does anyone know how to decorate a room around a giant elk head? Any help on that would be great. Or if anyone just wants to come and help paint that would be great as well.
